iFAST phase 2 on production

Finally, the 2nd phase on production today... yes, today 1st July... (give a round of applause hee...)
though phase 2 consider smaller scale than our phase 1 (with major Trade/Common.Security functions), but reports can be consider complex especially come to statistic reports... cos had a very bad experience in previous project with about 300 reports where about 2/3 are statistics reports, and users themselves dont even know the requirements.. sigh...
aiya.. talking away from main topic, anyway wanna talk about phase 1 here also as my memories... for phase 1, which was on production on 1st april, we had quite a hard time that time, cos having difficult times from project manager, and not much help from management, consider running on our own (basically the 2 good team leads from Trade and Common team, of course with my help) from the preparation of UAT, start of UAT till end UAT, we working very closely with the development team as well, to survive through, but seems like nobody appreciate and take for granted..
So when phase 2 come, for Trade's 35 reports, consider complex, and juz within short period of time (about 1.5 months development, 1 month repetitive SIT and another 1 month UAT), we still manage to deliver; but the Inspection team suffers quite a bit, I cant say much cos I'm not involve in the team's work as another 2 testers suppose to be helping them, but comments from the team lead is that not much help from my senior.. ok I dont want to talk abt it lah.. anyway, the team seems struggling even harder than Trade n Common team, although alot of good developers are there (about twice the size of Trade n Common team), but somehow the team still having problem with the requirement understanding and design problems, thus some of the deliverables cant roll out this phase, has to postpone to next phase, but luckily those main functions are there, and hence our phase 2 consider successfully on production!! :)

Well, I know that Trade n Common team have been working very hard, as we have another phase 2.5 coming on August, though management may/may not be appreciating, but I guess self satisfaction and also no complains from customer can prove that we are good!! Only those with lots of problems and complains that will get attention from management.. at lease some motivation for the 2 teams that seems unnoticeable but still working very hard at their best to reach the goal... Thanks to RK (who going to Lab team when he come back from leave on mid july), Vijay(cute and smart guy), Grace(pretty and perfection lady), James(cute and hardworking guy), Antony(very busy and characteristic guy), June and also Peggy...


**well, today using English cos I find that sometimes, I type english faster than chinese, dun scold me lah, though I'm from chinese school, but no choice, cos since I study in singapore from secondary 2, my chinese writing skills seems abit poor, but I would still try hard to practice and to get back my high standard :)
